DONNA BRUM Owner/Instructor/Choreographer/Professional Dancer Ms. Brum has been dancing since the age of 3. She has studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, and tumbling. She received her credentials from CNADM (Chicago National Association of Dance Masters) and NADAA (National Association of Dance and Affiliated Artists). She has studied extensively in cities across the country and has danced with many well-known Broadway and film stars. More recently she has choreographed several local musicals and shows. For 41 years, Ms. Brum has been living her dream of being a studio owner and considers her dance students her "family". Ms. Brum has studied under many exceptional entertainers, choreographers and teachers: Roland DuPree, Gregory Hines, Maurice Hines, Al Gilbert, Joe Tremaine, Luigi, Jackie Sleight, Roni Mahler, Lynda Gacke, Glenn Shipley, Bruce Bristol, Charles L. Grass, Ray Hollingsworth, Tommy Sutton, Bob Rizzo, Bruce Stegmann, Keith Clifton, Joel Ruminer, Joel Hall, Joan Lother, Barry Lother, Wade Robson, Bob Ziegler, Terrell Y. Paulk, Ron Daniels, Jeff Amsden, Bill Prudich, Lynda Martha, and Carol Connors.

TRACIE HEATHER BOROWY
Owner/Instructor/Choreographer/Professional Dancer Ms. Borowy has been teaching at the Donna Brum School of Dance since 1990, and has been dancing at the studio since the age of 4. In addition to her regular studio duties, she is the choreographer and coach for the Danz-Elite Junior and Senior competition teams. After her graduation from TF South, where she was Co-Captain of the Poms Team, Ms. Borowy attended Columbia College and earned a B.A. in Dance Teaching. She also lends her dance expertise to many local musical productions. Her great energy and love for dance make her a favorite of the students. Ms. Borowy has trained with many acclaimed dance masters including: Shirley Mordine, founder of Mordine & Co., Jan Erkert, founder of Jan Erkert Dancers, Joe Tremaine, Gus Giordano, Joel Hall, Michael McBain, Al Gilbert, & Roland Dupree. She has also formally trained with John Crutchman, Alan Sherfield, Doug Caldwell, Wade Robson, Lane Alexander, Charles McGowen, Linda Bernabis-Retter, Jackie Sleight, Dave Carter, Cory Finn, Justin Giles, Christian Vincent, Mark Schell, Kristianne Anthon, Joe Lanteri, Mia Michaels, Ginger Farley, Dardi McGinley and Pamela McNeil.

CATHY LENCZYCKI
Ms. Lenczycki is a graduate of T.F. South High School and has an Associate Degree from South Suburban College. She was an active member of the Pom Squad in high school. "Miss Cathy", as she is known to her students, has been dancing since the age of 6 and has been teaching at the studio since 1990. Ms. Lenczycki teaches tap, ballet, jazz, and tumbling.

BARBARA MARTEWICZ
Ms. Martewicz has been teaching all ages and all levels of gymnastics since the age of 12. A former competitive gymnast herself, Barbara brings enthusiasm and insider knowledge of the sport to the Donna Brum Studio. Ms. Martewicz competed from the age of 10 at the Olympia Gymnastics Center in Olympia Fields. She also competed on gymnastic teams for Thornwood High School and the University of Iowa.

SARA LOGANMs. Logan began dancing with Donna Brum at the age of 3. A former Danz-Elite team member, Sara is an award-winning artist with extensive training and experience in ballet, modern, hip hop, jazz and tap. She is currently attending Columbia College Chicago where she is working towards her BFA in Dance Instruction. While there, she received the opportunity to study under artists such as Kirby Reed (Joel Hall Company Member, Kirby Reed Project) and Joanna Rosenthal (Same Planet Different World Company Member). In 2006, Sara choreographed the award winning DanzElite number, “Girlfight.” Most recently, Sara is coaching and choreographing for Donna Brum Dancers’ own Hip Hop K-Nektionz Competition and Performance Team. Sara is also a dancer for H.Y.P.E. Productions.

JULIE NEWMAN
Ms. Newman has been dancing in the Chicagoland area for 17 years, most recently at Lou Conte Dance Studio in Chicago. In 2000 she became a member of the pop group Endera and has performed nationwide, working with well-known choreographers such as Chris Flournois (who has worked with P. Diddy, and other celebrities). Julie has been teaching dance for seven years and is currently part of the dance company at Indiana University Northwest. She continues her training both there and at Lou Conte's.

KARI WISOWATY Ms. Wisowaty, a former Danz - Elite member, has danced with Donna Brum since 1998. A recent graduate of NIU with a degree in Kinesiology, Ms. Wisowaty has performed with a variety of dance companies including the Empire State Ballet, Mordine & Company, and Rhythm Nation Dance Team. She has choreographed for many cheerleading and poms teams, as well as NIU's Rhythm Nation. She attended the Columbia College High School Summer Institute for Dance on scholarship in 2001. The studio is very excited to have Ms. Kari back to teach jazz, jazz-pom, hip-hop and conditioning.
